The Powerhouse Project

New knowledge, new ways of thinking, new solutions for society: that’s the promise of UBC Sauder’s $120M Powerhouse Project. This stunning 11-storey building will be constructed next to our current facilities at the site of the former UBC Power House, originally built in 1925.

With the construction of a landmark building on the UBC Vancouver campus, we are making space—in every sense—for the transformative future of business education in Canada. Discover more.

Support UBC Sauder

A bold vision, shared.

The Powerhouse Project will harness the power of our global community, including 47,000+ alumni, 4,600+ students and 550+ faculty and staff to drive this transformation. Every dollar donated and every community connection brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.
“Building on UBC Sauder’s strengths, this much-needed expansion will elevate the entire community. It’s an investment in our collective future—one that is innovative and entrepreneurial but also inclusive and responsible.”
